Our Manufacturing Virtual Internship is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the Manufacturing cluster and offer them an opportunity to gain real-world experience across a variety of related careers. This internship is specifically tailored to provide students with hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry, including exposure to production processes, quality control, supply chain management, and industrial engineering.
Throughout the internship, students will work with virtual professionals in the field, developing valuable skills and knowledge that will help them succeed in their future careers. They will have the opportunity to explore different career paths in the Manufacturing industry, learn about the latest trends and technologies in manufacturing, and gain insights into the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.
By the end of the internship, students will have a deeper understanding of the Manufacturing cluster, gained valuable experience in the field, and developed the skills and knowledge they need to pursue a successful career in production management, quality assurance, logistics and supply chain, industrial engineering, or research and development in the manufacturing sector.

STUDENT ELIGIBILITYTo be eligible for an internship at Ball, students must be currently enrolled in an accredited academic institution.
IDEAL PARTICIPANTSThe Summer Intern Program is in person and on-site and runs 10-12 weeks, 40 hours per week.Ideal participants are college students in their junior or senior year.
REAL WORLD EXPERIENCEWe will select participants who show promise in teamwork, exhibit motivation with a positive attitude, demonstrates responsibility, leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving, and a growth mindset, and provide You with an opportunity to become more competitive for careers in sustainable manufacturing.
